100 years anniversary

How often does one get to be 100 years old?Initially founded as a small Swiss branch bank, we opened our first counter in Basel's Aeschenvorstadt in 1909. A whole century later we are a proud Swiss full-service bank with 300 staff at eight locations across Switzerland.
We have come up with a number of things to mark our anniversary year, with the emphasis at all times on showing ourselves as we really are: direct, honest and considered. Our tradition has taught us to remain young and cosmopolitan, to foster partnerships and to look after the good things in life. As the bank for connoisseurs, culture has always played a key role in this.

Light-hearted small-scale art

We were staging our own small but perfectly-formed humour festival under the enticing title of "Savoir-Rire".The best comedians have performed, often in more than one language, in select venues throughout Switzerland and reminded us how to do something really vital - to laugh about things in general, about other people, and also - a bit - at ourselves.

Radiant art "Brillant par Tradition"

Review on two weeks in the spotlight Internationally renowned light artist Gerry Hofstetter illuminated each Bank CIC (Suisse) building for one night. A fleeting moment of art for a brilliant start to our centenary year.
