CIC Live – Help and Manuals
Thank you for choosing CIC Live (video consultation and screen-sharing). This page contains information that will make it easier for you to connect to and use CIC Live.
If you have any further questions, please contact your relationship manager.
-
What conditions do I have to meet in order to use CIC Live (video consultation and screen-sharing)?
You need a computer or laptop with an up-to-date web browser and a stable internet connection to use CIC Live. In addition, you will require a webcam for video broadcasts and a microphone for audio broadcasts.
Mobile devices (tablets/smartphones) are also compatible, albeit with limited functionality when screen-sharing. We recommend using a headset, as you would otherwise have to listen to the audio broadcast via the speaker.
You do not need to install any additional apps on your device to use CIC Live.
There is a test you can conduct in order to find out whether your browser and internet-ready device are suitable for a video broadcast. If the result is negative, please contact your relationship manager directly to discuss an alternative.
-
How does a video broadcast work?
Your relationship manager will send you an invitation containing the access data.
You can either dial in to the meeting directly via the link or go to live.cic.ch and enter the meeting ID to join.
After connecting to the video broadcast, please check that the picture, sound and microphone are working.
During the meeting, you will be able to see your relationship manager’s screen if required or share content from your own screen. It is important to bear in mind that it is not otherwise possible to access each other’s screen and content.
If you have not received an invitation or can no longer find the access data, please get in touch with your relationship manager.
-
What security measures are in effect for users of CIC Live?
- Your meeting ID is the only way to access it.
- Data can only be shared via an encrypted internet connection conforming to the latest standards.
- The servers are managed and secured by Bank CIC (Switzerland) Ltd. and are housed in suitably secure data centres in Switzerland.
- Your relationship manager is unable to access your computer. You yourself decide what content – if any – you want to share via screen-sharing.
