  • What is bLink?

    bLink is a platform from SIX that provides financial institutions and software providers with standardised interfaces for exchanging data. Platform members can connect securely and efficiently and exchange a range of financial data. Processes can be optimised and automated as a result.

  • What do I need to get connected?

    To exchange data with your accounting software via bLink, you need the following:

    • You must have access to CIC eLounge
    • You must have the necessary authorisations for the bank accounts
    • You must use an accounting software package approved for bLink
  • How do I get connected?

    Onboarding is very easy. You can set up a connection to your accounts with Bank CIC in your accounting software yourself. Follow the instructions in your software package to start the process.

    1. In the package, click on “Connect bank accounts” (or similar).
    2. Select Bank CIC (Switzerland) Ltd.
    3. You will be redirected to the CIC eLounge login.
    4. After logging in, select the accounts for which you wish to share data with the accounting software and the accounts you wish to use to send payment instructions to CIC eLounge.
    5. Confirm the connection.
    6. You will then be returned to your accounting software and immediately receive the information desired.

    The API connection means account and transaction data can be transferred to your accounting software seamlessly. You can also enter payment instructions directly in your software.

  • What period is covered by the data available via bLink?

    Bank CIC provides account and transaction data from the last two years. You can obtain data going back further in CIC eLounge if required.

  • What does the service cost?

    This integration from Bank CIC is available free of charge. 

  • What accounting systems are supported?

    Our API integration supports multiple accounting software providers. A full list is available on the bLink website.

  • What are the benefits of the API integration with bLink?

    The integration keeps your account balances up to date, optimises and automates processes and lets you send payment instructions directly to CIC eLounge without leaving your accounting software. Payment instructions have to be approved in CIC eLounge.
