Vidal Philippe

Philippe Vidal

President | Philippe Vidal has been a member of the Board of Directors of Bank CIC since 1999 and its President since 2007.
Engineering graduate Philippe Vidal has been Deputy General Director of Banque CIC in France since September 2012. In this function he is responsible for corporate banking and investment banking as well as for financial transactions, trading, private banking and asset management. Prior to this he was Chairman/General Director of Banque CIC Est in Strasbourg. Philippe Vidal has worked for the Crédit Mutuel Group ever since joining in 1987 and has been instrumental in estab-lishing the private banking division.
Burger Roland

Roland Burger

Vice-President | Roland Burger has been a member of the Board of Directors of Bank CIC since June 2018 and its Vice-President since June 2021.
Roland Burger is partner and member of the Board of Directors and senior management of PKF Certifica AG and is responsible for the regions of German- and French-speaking Switzerland.
As a federally certified auditor and FINMA-accredited lead auditor for banks, securities traders and financial market infrastructures, he has broad-based experience in auditing and consulting. He was a long-standing partner at BDO, and as a member of senior management there he was responsible for the Financial Services product area, leading numerous international, national and regional auditing mandates. He served many years as a member of the commission for bank auditing of EXPERTsuisse.
In his spare time he likes to participate in sports and is interested in music and culture.
Alborn Pierre

Pierre Ahlborn

Member | Pierre Ahlborn has been a member of the Board of Directors of Bank CIC since 2001.
After completing completing his doctorate master's studies in natural sciences and geography at U.L.P. Strasbourg and obtaining a Master in Business Studies at the University of Essex in Great Britain, Luxembourg-borne Pierre Ahlborn began his banking career in 1988 at Banque de Luxem-bourg, where he has been Managing Director since 2000. He also holds a number of board of di-rector mandates, including at the European Fund Administration, the Luxembourg Bankers' Asso-ciation (ABBL), the Luxembourg Red Cross and the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra. In his free time, the father of four enjoys sailing, cooking, skiing, music and art.
Chaffard Jean-Albert

Jean-Albert Chaffard

Member | Jean-Albert Chaffard has been a member of the Board of Directors of Bank CIC since September 2017.
Jean-Albert Chaffard has a degree in Finance and Business Administration from a University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration and the University of Panthéon-Assas in Paris. He has been the Director of International Activities at the CIC Group since April 2017. Previously, he was the Managing Director of CIC Nord Ouest. Jean-Albert Chaffard has been with the CIC Group since 1990 – initially as Regional Manager and Head of Business Clients at CIC Lyonnaise de Banque, and then at the Crédit Mutuel CM11 Group as Business Clients Director.
Fischer Christian

Christian Fischer

Member | Christian Fischer has been a member of the Board of Directors of Bank CIC since September 2012.
Christian Fischer is founder and Managing Partner of CFM partners ag, an M&A consulting firm focusing on the financial services sector. Prior to that, he worked for twelve years as an M&A specialist and most recently as a partner at a consultancy company. Christian Fischer held senior positions over many years at UBS in the fields of Controlling & Finance in Zurich and New York. Christian Fischer has a degree in Business Economics FH and successfully completed the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme.

Christoph Goppelsroeder

Christoph Goppelsroeder has been a member of the Board of Directors of Bank CIC since September 2020.
Christoph Goppelsroeder was President & CEO of DSM Nutritional Products and member of the newly established DSM Executive Committee. His career started at Boston Consulting. In 1994, he joined F. Hoffmann-La Roche where he became President North America of the Roche Fine Chemicals & Vitamins Division, based in Parsippany/NJ. After the takeover of this division by DSM in 2003, he remained President North America and additionally was appointed to Director of the unbundling an integration project VITAL, followed by a call to the DSM Managing Board in The Netherlands. In 2006, he left DSM and took charge of the business unit Seed Care at Syngenta. Christoph Goppelsroeder studied engineering at the Swiss Federal institute of Technology (ETH) and thereafter collected his MBA at Insead, Fontainebleau. He grew up in the Basel region where he lives with his family today.
Malnati Francois

François Malnati

Member | François Malnati has been a member of the Board of Directors of Bank CIC since May 2004.
François Malnati has enjoyed a successful banking career within the Crédit Mutuel Group. He has held a variety of positions in the fields of private banking, cash management and corporate finance in the network of the Group. The international working environment offered him the opportunity to work in different countries for several years, including Germany, the USA, Great Britain and Poland. His great passion is painting.
