No, Bank CIC does not accept stock exchange orders by message. Please enter stock exchange orders directly in CIC eLounge or contact your relationship manager.
At what times can I enter stock exchange orders and when are they executed?
Stock exchange orders can be entered in CIC eLounge at any time. Stock exchange orders are executed during normal bank opening hours from 8 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. and are guaranteed during this period (no orders are executed at weekends, on official public holidays or on bank holidays).
Can I engage in short selling via CIC eLounge?
No, short selling is not possible via CIC eLounge.
What securities can I trade?
All securities displayed in CIC eLounge can be traded.
Are stock exchange prices in CIC eLounge displayed in real time?
Yes, if you have an advisory mandate you have access to information and real-time stock exchange prices on more than 3,000 instruments under “Investments > Market data”. If you do not have an advisory mandate, market data and prices are available with a 15-minute delay.
Is there direct access to trading venues?
No, CIC eLounge does not offer direct access to trading venues; it provides an alternative to placing stock market orders with the bank in the traditional manner.
The security I am looking for is not available in CIC eLounge. Can I arrange for this security to be added?
To enter this kind of stock market order, please contact your relationship manager directly. Adding a security is also simple to do in CIC eLounge: search for the security desired under “Investments > Market data” and then click on “Trade”. A message will appear that this security has not yet been added. Clicking on “Please open security” will automatically send your relationship manager a request for it to be added. You will be informed as soon as the security has been added.
How can I find out whether and at what price my stock exchange order was executed?
You can see the current status of your transactions under “Investments > Investment overview”. All details relating to costs and prices are listed there.
Can I modify stock exchange orders which have been submitted?
Stock exchange orders submitted in CIC eLounge cannot be amended subsequently. If an order has the status “Sent” or “Partially executed” a cancellation request can be placed. To further amend orders which have already been entered, please contact your relationship manager directly.
Can I delete stock exchange orders which have been submitted?
A cancellation request can be placed for stock exchange orders entered in CIC eLounge as long as they have the status “Sent” or “Partially executed”. Cancellation requests can only be processed during bank opening hours from 8 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Any cancellation requests submitted at weekends or on official public holidays and bank holidays will not be processed until the following bank working day.
Can my account balance fall below zero due to a stock exchange transaction?
Yes, this can happen if the opening stock price is much higher than the previous day’s “estimated transaction value” and the stock exchange order is executed at best.
Can I follow individual securities and be notified if a particular price is reached?
Yes, under “Investments > Watchlist” you will find your own personal watchlist. You can add your favourites to your personal watch list and set up price alarms. You can also add target rates for foreign currencies to the watch list, to make sure that you don’t miss out on trading or investment opportunities.
Where do I find my investments shown with their maturities?
All investments in your portfolios with a maturity are listed under “Investments > Investment overview > Maturities”.
